Happy New Year!!!

I decided to start the New Year with the Firebird series by Claudia Gray and a new journal. It has been awhile since I have boughten books so it felt really good buying these especially since they were on my "to buy" list for a very long time. It has been almost a year since i've read a book because of school and work but luckily during my winter break I was able to read the Reawakened series by Colleen Houck and realized how much I missed reading. I used to read all the time and it was my favorite thing to do. I have decided for the New Year that I will make sure I have time for myself and do what I love...read.

Review

The Tiger's Curse series is one of my all time favorite series. I have been obsessed with them and really enjoy the journey each time I reread them. Tiger's promise goes back tot he beginning where the curse started. In the series we learn little snip its of what happened to the Rajaram brothers but in Tiger's Promise we read from the point of view of each main character. It was nice to see the brothers from when they were younger as well as their parent's whom I've grown to love. This book also has a sneek peek into the fifth and final book of the series that fans are still waiting for. This is a must read to get the full picture of the curse and to learn about the elusive Yesubai.

Review

I have read The Host more times than I can count and each time I cannot put the book down even though I know that is going to happen. This is the first time that I have read a love story where 2 characters inhabit one body so I want very curious on how that was going to turn out because come on...there has to be a happy ending right? The beginning was a little slow since we had to get to know the new world that we have been thrown into but after that it is almost impossible to stop yourself from finishing the book in one sitting. What I liked the most is that it makes you think about the human race. Read the book and you'll see what I mean. ;)
